Why do different questions have different maximum scores?
We have analysed importance of each question to the tenancy decision and allocated maximum scores accordingly. For example Induction has 0.5 & Landlord responsiveness has 1.5 as maximum score. A responsive Landlord is far more relevant than an induction process to a tenancy decision. Similarly safety is more relevant than availability of parking near the property.
Do you have negative scoring? If yes, why?
Yes, we have negative scores for properties with rodent issues which are unresolved. Rodent’s issues like mice can hugely impact day to day life of tenants. Unlike mould, rodents are on the move and it is difficult to quarantine them hence the negative scoring.
My issue is not covered within the questions, can Asktenants.co.uk add it?
We have covered most common issues with properties. Unfortunately we cannot cover all issues. Please send us your feedback on the issue which is not covered (contact us) as we review tenants feedback from time to time and will incorporate changes wherever possible.
